Thanks to QuarticOn CDXP, you can create email templates for both campaigns and automations. Templates help maintain consistency in communication, build brand recognition among recipients, and save time.

In this article, we describe how to create a template from the Campaigns > Manage Templates page. However, there are other ways to create and save email templates:

You can create email templates from scratch, but you can also use our template library - it contains over 500 pre-designed templates that you can customize to your liking. See: Guide to the email template library: edit, create, save.

Możesz tworzyć szablony mailowe od zera, ale możesz też skorzystać z naszej biblioteki szablonów – zawiera ona ponad 500 propozycji, które możesz edytować wedle własnego uznania. Zobacz: E-mail template library guide: edit, create, save.

Creating a template using the drag&drop editor

1. Please go to the Campaigns tab on the left-hand menu, and then select Campaign Templates in the sidebar.

2. Click the Create a Template button in the top right corner of the screen.

3. In the modal window, select the middle template type, Classic, and click Continue.

4. On the email templates library page, click Start From Scratch to create a template from scratch.

5. After entering the template editor, change its name to something that will also be useful to you in the future, e.g. Webinar Email. Drag and drop the selected content blocks into the template layout. You have at your disposal content blocks, images, CTA buttons, videos, social media icons, and HTML blocks.

6. After building the template, click the Save & exit.

The newly created template will appear on the custom templates page under the All Custom Templates tab.

You can now use this template as a starting point for your future campaigns and email messages in automation.

Creating a template with HTML code

1. Go to the Campaigns tab in the left-hand menu, then select Campaign Templates in the sidebar.

2. Click on the Create a Template button in the upper right corner of the screen.

3. In the modal window, select the Custom HTML template type and click Continue.

4. After entering the HTML editor, change the name of the template by clicking on New Template at the very top.

5. Compose HTML code in the code editor. You can preview the template's appearance in the window on the right side.

6. After building the template, click the Save & exit.

The newly created template will appear on the template library page under the All Custom Templates tab.

E-mail template settings

Each template has its own settings. Thanks to them, you can, among other things, send a test message, preview the template in different email clients, and check potential spam threats.

To access the template settings, click on the chosen template from the Campaign Templates page. Then, in the template editor, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen (you will find it in both the drag&drop and HTML editors).

A modal window with settings will open. You can:

  • rename the template; note that you can also click the Personalize the Template Name icon to personalize the template name

  • add one or more categories to the template to make it easier to find in the future

  • enable or disable the responsiveness of the template on mobile devices

  • send a test message

  • preview the template in different email clients or on the desktop

  • check for potential spam threat
