As you know from the article Basic drag&drop editor tools, blocks are ready-made layout proposals for elements that can be added directly to the template.
However, their role is not limited to inserting into the message template and completing it with content. Creating blocks has an additional use that makes your work extremely easy – that is, the user can save and reuse them when designing other templates in the future. The communication of many companies often consists of fixed elements, e.g. the main banner + header, and thanks to saving blocks, you do not have to create them each time you send a newsletter.
Saving blocks
Let's assume that the permanent part of your newsletter is a reminder about the blog, where subscribers will find interesting industry articles.
1. Create the appropriate content in the e-mail template, such as a block with a short text, a picture and CTA, for example. Move the cursor closer to the right edge of the block and check that the frame contains all the elements you have placed.
If there is an element that is sticking out of the frame and you want it to be included in the saved block, you can add it to it. To do this, grab the given row and drag it to the right place. E.g:

Click on the block frame, then save it by clicking on the floppy disk icon in the lower right corner.
In the box that appears, enter a category name and optional tags, which help organise the blocks and allow you to find them quickly.
You can find saved blocks in the Blocks category in the Last saved section or under the name you gave them. Blocks are account-specific, so only you, the user who saved them, can see them.
Don't forget to save your template!
Using saved blocks
From now on, you can use the saved block to create other e-mail creations by dragging it from the list to the appropriate place on the template. Like any other block, you can duplicate it, move it, or delete it.
